Templates You Need
To help our customers create great graphics for their media, DE provides both PDF and Quark or InDesign templates for a variety of printed materials.
You can use PDF files for instructions, but do not use them to create templates. To view and print PDF files, you’ll need Adobe Reader 4.0 or higher. Download the free Adobe Reader and install it on your Mac or PC.
Use Quark files to create artwork or to import finished artwork. To use Quark files, you’ll need a Mac with Stuffit Expander (to extract the files) and QuarkXPress 3.3 or higher. If you do not have QuarkXPress, we can supply the templates you need in a different format. Please contact your Digital Excellence account representative for help.
Quark and InDesign templates are placed on the page in accordance with Digital Excellence’s printing specifications. If you change these templates in any way, DE’s Graphics Department will have to set up your artwork in the correct template. This could result in additional costs and may delay your project.
