This premier studio collection represents countless music categories, many recorded in digital stereo. We have enhanced our music resources further by custom-recording many cues, themes, bridges, and background compositions which we make available to our studio clients.
Vintage and Digital SFX
You’ll be amazed at the audio effects that can be yours from Digital Excellence! Our experts can recreate sounds heard in an ancient Greek sailing ship or digitally alter a frog’s croak to sound like a dragon approaching through a 100-foot stone tunnel. DE stocks a library of over 20,000 sound effects, ranging from the outstanding BBC, CBS, Hanna-Barbera, Sound Ideas, and FirstCom collections to the thousands of effects created by DE’s Radio Recorders Hollywood studios over a period of 35 years. The library also includes a very substantial categorized file of DE custom effects recorded for specific client projects and a large number of sampled effects recorded in 16-bit digital stereo.

You’ve found the perfect music and the client has approved your approach—but can you legally use the music you’ve found? Let us take care of the confusing and time-consuming process of music licensing. Besides our 14 stock music libraries, which include thousands of cues in every category of production, we have access to many excellent catalogs of pop, ethnic, classical, and specialty material.
